What a tremendous waste! Seven months and two magazines later, I've not blogged a jot. I'm an embarrassment to the Internet...

The Beginning
Breathe.
Pause.
Close your eyes.
Okay.
This is how it starts. No, it's not an bold new move in the bedroom. It's the first blog post. Like meeting someone at a party, one never knows whether to really commit to the thing (in the metaphor: engaging a stranger in conversation. In this instance: writing a blog) because there is no indication of a successful future. In honesty, I'm certain my time could be better utilised. I could be writing something for proper publication, for money. I could be packing up my belongings for the impending move. I could be doing something constructive for SAX APPEAL, the magazine I am preparing for publication in... wait for it... five weeks. Crikey.
But instead, I decided I needed a blog. Unfortunately, I have nothing to say as yet. But I see from perusing other people's blogs that this should not hinder me in the slightest.
